We are a gathering of friends and “family”— sewers, quilters, knitters, and crafters that enjoy creating beautiful things.
Join us for our annual craft sale after the Vigil Mass on Saturday, December 7, and after the three morning Masses (7am, 9am, 11am) on December 8, in the parish hall. We will have a variety of quilted, embroidered, and knitted items for sale. Come find a gift for someone special or for yourself. The funds we raise help support other parish ministries and community charities such as Habitat for Humanity, Mamie George Community Center, Project Gabriel, and others.
All are welcome to join. We meet at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesdays in the St. Francis Room in the Ave Maria Center. Just drop in or contact Joanne Friday at 281-565-3848 or [email protected].
Prayer blankets are available year-round from St. Laurence Women of the Cloth. They have been lovingly stitched by WOTC and blessed by one of our priests.
Contact Janet Hill at 281/682-4820 or come by the AMC on Tuesday mornings between 10:00 am and noon when the group meets.
Suggested donation is $25.
Fabrics vary so please come by to choose the blanket.
