St. Laurence Ladies Guild invites you to join our ministry. Membership is open to women of all ages, interests, professions and backgrounds. We usually meet on the third Thursday of the month, from September to May, at 6:30 pm in the parish hall, see Meetings page for details.
Our monthly meetings include prayer, fellowship, lots of good food and drinks, and an interesting speaker or a fun program.
We have been serving St Laurence parish for over 25 years. Our motto is taken from the Gospel of Matthew, “to serve, not to be served.” We strive to serve our parish, community, and outreach areas in the spirit of fellowship and love as Sisters in Christ.
Net proceeds from our fundraisers, such as Shop 'Til U Drop, benefit a variety of charities.
Ladies Guild members have the option to serve in many different areas, including:
Meals That Heal
Meals That Heal Ministry provides meals to those who need a little extra help during times of illness, after surgery, or childbirth. As part of the St. Laurence Ladies Guild, volunteer chefs from Meals That Heal deliver a warm smile and meal to families when they need it most. Volunteer chefs are welcome! Last year, this Ladies Guild ministry prepared and delivered nearly 100 meals to families that needed a little help. If you or someone you know is in need of meals, or you are interested in providing a meal to those in need, please contact the Coordinator at: [email protected]

Members of the Funeral Reception Ministry prepare and serve food for funeral receptions. This ministry is a part of the St. Laurence Ladies Guild and seeks to serve parishioners by seeing to the details involved in creating a reception for family and friends of the deceased.
