Life Teen Series- Back to the Future

Whether it’s to go back in your past to stop yourself from saying something that you might later regret, or to visit the future and see where you’ll be in 10 years, or experience your favorite moment in history firsthand, we've all wished at one point or another we had a time machine, right? 

While time machines don't actually exist, the Bible can sometimes feel a little bit like a time machine. In Scripture we hear the story of God who exists outside of time and had a plan to save the world before time even existed. God's plan was fulfilled through Jesus 2,000+ years ago, but prophets like Isaiah, Zephaniah, Jeremiah, and Amos left us prophecies, kind of like hints, about God’s plan hundreds of years before the time of Jesus Christ. 

So what was that plan? In this upcoming series at St. Laurence Life Teen, we'll discover that Jesus’ mission was to set people free and rebuild what has been destroyed — and we can join Him on that mission, in part, by living the Beatitudes and by doing justice, even when it's not easy, popular or rewarding.
