FOCUS: A 4-WEEK LIFE TEEN LOOK AT SPIRITUAL GROWTH
It’s not easy to stay focused. With the ever-ending stream of new notifications, ads, messages, videos, posts, and entertainment, not to mention summer break just a few weeks away, it makes sense if we feel a little distracted sometimes. Maybe you’ve struggled recently to stay focused on your homework, or on the story your friend was telling you, or on the movie you were watching — but have you ever struggled to stay focused when it came to growing and building your relationship with God?
In this four-week series this upcoming month of April, we’re going to get honest about how difficult it can be to stay focused when we’re trying to pray, read the Bible, go to Mass, or grow in our faith. Each week, we’ll challenge ourselves to focus on practicing four different spiritual disciplines that can help us grow our faith.
Like anything in life, staying committed to our faith doesn't just happen by accident. During this series, we will look at the ways that we can commit to being a disciple of Jesus Christ, not only now in high school but throughout the rest of our lives.
LIFE TEEN IS FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS IN GRADES 9-12.
OUR MAIN WEEKLY GATHERINGS ARE CALLED "LIFE NIGHTS". THESE MEET ON SUNDAYS FOLLOWING THE 5PM MASS UNTIL 8:15 PM AUGUST THROUGH MAY AND ON SELECT SUNDAYS OVER THE SUMMER.
