We have Holy Adoration at 4 am. Come participate in this simple act of spending time in prayer before Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, exposed on the altar at the Chapel of Divine Mercy at St. Laurence. You can go straight to the Chapel or meet with fellow Brother Adorers at the parish hall kitchen, a few minutes before 4. After the Holy Hour, we invite all Adorers to come join us for coffee at the Parish Hall Kitchen.
Be a part of history! Fr. Reginald Samuels will be formally installed as Pastor of St. Laurence on Sunday,
December 15, at the 11:00am Mass. Fr. Reginald is just the fourth pastor in the 40 year history of our parish,
following Fr. Laurence Connelly (1985-1994), Fr. John Weyer (1994-2002), and Fr. Drew Wood (2002-2024). Join us in celebrating and congratulating Fr. Reginald with a reception in the parish hall following the 11:00am Mass. Light refreshments will be served. We look forward to coming together as a
community to honor this special occasion!
Coping with the sudden or tragic death of a loved one can be very difficult. Survivors are often overwhelmed by the grief that follows an unexpected death, and this may complicate the grieving process. Connecting with others who are also grieving the sudden death of loved ones can facilitate the healing process. These are not counseling sessions. The Grieving Families support group is for those who are grieving the death of loved ones through murder, suicide, accident, or any other sudden death. The group meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm in the Ave Maria Parish Life Center in the St. Francis room. Join us for our next meeting. For more information or to register to attend these free sessions, please contact Agnes Fernandes at 281-933-3721 or [email protected]. Space is limited.
