Members of Rev John T. Weyer Council 11343 host the annual free throw championship contest at the St. Laurence school playground. Girls and boys ages 9 - 14 are invited to participate in the free throw skill competition. Winners advance to the local district, regional and state contests. 

Council members and families helped families in the area with food and gift items during the Christmas holidays. Many of the families were grandparents supporting their grandchildren, ages ranged from 2 to 83 years. Professional shoppers ventured out to purchase and list items. Council members and families wrapped, preparedand delivered gift items. Over 40 knights and their families helped at the Pillows and Blankets event.
