Elementary CCE Curriculum

Elementary CCE and Home Study families will use the RCL textbook series, FAITH FIRST LEGACY EDITION. This series teaches the pillars of the Catechism - Creed, Sacraments, Morality, and Prayer - every year in every grade level. Each year, children will build upon and reinforce what they have previously learned. The focus question, "What Difference Does Faith Make in My Life?" is reflected in all these units:

We Believe: The Creed
We Worship: Liturgy and Sacraments
We Live: Christian Morality
We Pray: Christian Prayer
We Celebrate: The Liturgical Year
Catholic Prayers and Practices

Catechists and parents have access to a variety of resources provided by RCL, including access to the Faith First website: www.faithfirst.com. This website provides an amazing amount of content and links to help develop lessons and faith formation. Families may access this website to further explore or enhance their weekly lessons.


Start Date: September 18/19, 2012
End Date: May 7/8, 2013.

Please look to the calendar for a complete listing of the class dates for CCE.  This calendar shows both PreK-Kinder and Elementary CCE dates so look closely at the dates highlighted to ensure it is for PreK-Kinder classes. 
Classes meet on the following days and times:

• Tuesday 4:15 to 5:30 pm
• Wednesday 4:15 to 5:30 pm
• Wednesday 6:15 to 7:30 pm

(These options are on a first come first serve basis. We ask that you mark your first, second and third choices on your registration forms in order to place your children into classes.)
